About the Program

This isn鈥檛 just summer school鈥攊t鈥檚 a transformational journey built for high performers like you. You鈥檒l take college-level courses, join dynamic leadership workshops, and build real connections with professors and mentors. Who Can Apply

The High Ability Program is open to students who meet the following requirements:

  • Rising high school senior (current junior)

  • Minimum 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale

  • Minimum ACT composite score of 20 or SAT 940 combined (Critical Reading + Math)

If this sounds like you, don鈥檛 wait鈥攐nly 50 students will be accepted.

Your $250 registration fee covers everything you need for this unforgettable experience:

Participants will reside on-campus and engage in seminars, team-building activities, and workshops. The program includes:
  • College admissions and financial aid sessions
  • Networking with business professionals and HBCU alumni
  • Interactions with college students
  • Leadership and professional development activities
No. While the program emphasizes HBCUs, it is open to students exploring any college or university, including community colleges, trade schools, and more.
No. This is a fully residential program designed for in-person engagement.
Participants will be supervised by trained student staff with experience in mentoring and leadership, alongside professional staff members specializing in education and student engagement. A program coordinator with extensive expertise in academic management will oversee the program, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
To apply, you must complete the online application and upload the following documents:
  • Official high school transcript
  • A 250鈥300-word personal statement

The 黑料社 High Ability Program will not be offered during Summer 2026. As a result, applications are currently closed.
